We are thrilled to announce that the Better Business Bureau Akron is officially sponsoring our newest home construction project! Because this build highlights the highest standards of trust and integrity in our local business community, all corporate volunteer groups and subcontractors must be BBB Accredited Businesses to participate.
We are currently accepting bids from qualified, accredited local contractors for this special build.
Project Scope
We are seeking bids for the following trades:

Excavation & Poured Wall Foundation

Flat Concrete Works
-
Roofing & Drywall
-
HVAC, Electrical, & Plumbing
-
Flooring

ALL BIDS ARE DUE: Friday, June 12 by 3:00PM
Participation & Bidder Requirements
To ensure compliance with our project guidelines, all participating subcontractors and corporate groups must meet the following criteria:

BBB Accreditation: Must be a current Accredited Business with the BBB Akron.

Habitat Partnership: Complete the standard Habitat for Humanity subcontractor packet and sign the working agreement.

Compliance Documentation: Provide proof of General Liability Insurance, Workers’ Compensation, a signed W-9 form, and a Federal Debarment Statement.

Excavation Requirement: Winning bid for excavation work will require the purchase of a $10,000 bond for the City of Akron
