Director of Development

The Director of Development reports to the President & CEO and is directly responsible for designing and executing the affiliate’s annual fundraising plan. This leadership role oversees staff and strategy across major gifts, grant writing, the Habitat 2.0 annual fund, and corporate/faith relations. In addition to managing development operations within board-approved guidelines, the Director serves as a prominent community ambassador and collaborates closely on special events to fuel Habitat for Humanity’s mission.

Advocacy and Government Affairs Manager

The Advocacy and Government Affairs Manager reports to the Director of Community Engagement and plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission through strategic advocacy. This key position is responsible for shaping and influencing policies that impact affordable housing, community development, and neighborhood revitalization. To drive these initiatives, the Manager will cultivate strong relationships with public entities, quasi-public stakeholders, and elected officials across all of Summit County’s municipalities, as well as at the state and national levels.

Development Officer – Corporate/Foundation/Donors

The Development Officer reports to the Director of Development and is primarily responsible for raising the financial resources necessary to drive the affiliate’s success. This collaborative role focuses on stewarding existing corporate and foundation donors while cultivating new philanthropic relationships to increase both financial and volunteer support. In addition to aligning corporate partnerships and assisting with annual fundraising events, the Development Officer serves as an active community ambassador—which includes welcoming, checking in, and monitoring the safety of volunteers on major build sites.
