Happy Holidays from Habitat for Humanity of Summit County!
As the year comes to a close, we reflect with gratitude on the incredible impact our community has made together. Because of the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors, and the support of our partners and neighbors, 2025 has been a year of meaningful progress across Summit County.
One of our most exciting milestones this year has been the continued development of our Silver Maple Ridge neighborhood. We proudly completed 11 homes, with two families set to move in early 2026 and three more homes scheduled for completion next year. Each home represents not just a structure, but a foundation for stability, opportunity, and a brighter future.
Community engagement remained at the heart of our work. We hosted two Neighborhood Network Reborn events, one in Lakemore and another in Cuyahoga Falls. These events brought residents together, helping to build connections, strengthen neighborhoods, and foster a shared sense of pride and belonging.
We were also thrilled to host three successful fundraising events this year: Build in Style, the Home-In-One Golf Outing, and Bourbon Build. These events not only raised critical funds to support our mission, but also brought together supporters who believe in the power of safe, affordable housing.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, our ReStore received more than 19,000 donations this year, helping to fund our programs while promoting sustainability. In addition, we completed 112 home repairs, allowing families to remain safely in the homes they love.
This work would not be possible without you our community, volunteers, donors, and supporters who make our mission a reality in Summit County. Your commitment helps us continue building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
