Thanks to AARP for the generous support that made our Neighborhood Network Walk Audits in West Akron possible to help make our community a great place for all ages. Walk audits are an essential resident-led initiative where neighbors walk their streets, identify problem areas, and shape a shared vision for a safer, more welcoming community. Why Walk Audits matter for West Akron:✔️They give residents a direct voice in planning improvements.✔️They help pinpoint needs like missing sidewalks, crosswalk safety, and better lighting.✔️They are a simple, yet powerful, way to gather data for meaningful, resident-driven neighborhood investments!Together, we're building an improved sense of community and a better quality of life for ALL West Akron neighbors.
